🏢 1. Who We Are

Science Tuto is an educational mobile application developed and operated by WebNexis Technologies, an independent software developer based in India.

The App is available for free download on the Google Play Store and provides study material, quizzes, games, and daily challenges for students of Class 1–12 aligned with CBSE, ICSE, and WBSE curricula.

📱 2. Use of the App

By installing or using Science Tuto, you agree to use it only for lawful educational purposes. The app is designed for students, parents, and teachers.

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time without prior notice.

👤 3. User Accounts

To access personalised features (saved progress, leaderboard, Daily Quiz history), you must create an account by providing your name, email address, mobile number, and class information.

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information during registration.
• Each person may only maintain one active account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.

📚 4. Content & Intellectual Property

All content within Science Tuto — including but not limited to quiz questions, explanations, game mechanics, graphics, icons, and the app's source code — is the intellectual property of WebNexis Technologies or its licensors, and is protected under applicable Indian and international copyright laws.

• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal educational purposes only.
• NCERT/CBSE/ICSE curriculum references are used for educational alignment purposes. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by these bodies.
• User-generated content (if any) remains the property of the user; by submitting it you grant us a royalty-free licence to use it within the App.

🚫 5. Prohibited Conduct

While using Science Tuto, you agree not to:

• Attempt to hack, overload, or disrupt the app or its servers
• Use automated bots or scripts to manipulate quiz scores or leaderboards
• Submit false information or impersonate another person
• Reproduce, distribute, or sell any content from the app without written consent
• Use the app for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or personal data
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, legal action.

👶 6. Children's Use (Ages 6–18)

Science Tuto is specifically designed for students aged 6–18. We comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA) and take children's privacy seriously.

• Children under 13 must have verifiable parental consent to register.
• We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data from minors beyond what is needed for app functionality.
• Parents may request deletion of their child's account and data at any time by emailing support@sciencetuto.in.
• We do not show behavioural advertising to users identified as minors.

⚠️ 7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Science Tuto is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy or completeness of educational content
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App
• Fitness for any particular purpose or examination result

While we strive for accuracy in all our quiz content and study materials, we cannot guarantee that all information is completely free of errors. For examination preparation, always refer to your official textbooks and school teachers.

The App may experience downtime due to maintenance, upgrades, or factors beyond our control.

🛡️ 8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WebNexis Technologies and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App
• Loss of data, scores, or progress due to technical issues
• Any examination results or academic outcomes — the App is a supplementary learning tool only
• Damages arising from unauthorised access to your account

Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim (which is ₹0 since the App is free).

🔚 9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Science Tuto at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if:

• You violate any provision of these Terms
• We reasonably suspect fraudulent activity or misuse
• We decide to discontinue the App or a specific feature

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@sciencetuto.in. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

🔄 10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Display an in-app notification on next launch
• Send an email notification to registered users (for significant changes)

Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

⚖️ 11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Science Tuto shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in West Bengal, India.

Before initiating legal proceedings, we encourage you to first contact us at support@sciencetuto.in to resolve any dispute amicably. We commit to responding to all genuine complaints within 7 business days.
